About Me

I am a largely self-taught emerging artist who uses vibrant colour, strong contrasts and decoration. My artistic practice is fuelled by a deep fascination with the natural world and the beings in it. I exhibit from time to time and my work can be found in private collections throughout the UK.

Mental health is a particular personal focus and in 2020 I collaborated with Time to Talk Mental Health UK on Creative Expressions: Freedom through Poetry and Art. I’m also very open to discussing community and charitable collaborations that feature mental health and neurodiversity themes so please use the Contact Me page to get in touch.

I work with many different painting and drawing materials, with a preference for acrylic, ink, watercolour and colour pencils, creating textured layers that convey a sense of depth and emotion. I also design digital patterns and physical prototypes for apparel and accessories through my brand English Romantic Design.

I invite you to explore the colourful spectrum of existence and to enjoy natural universal beauty.

I live and work in Nottinghamshire in England and I am a member of the Nottingham Society of Artists.
